In 1984 Bertus Weeda graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts Rotterdam. Bertus has had an exhibition of graduation work in New York in 1983. He has won a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in a 1987 design competition. In 2009 there was a solo retrospective at the Tax and Customs Museum in Rotterdam.
